What are the advantages of LED plant lights compared to traditional plant lights?

(1) LED plant lights are more reliable and have longer life than traditional plant lights

        The LED chip can be said to be a semi-permanent artificial light source. If the assembly, packaging and other processes are completed, the life of the LED plant lamp can generally be as high as tens of thousands of hours, that is, it can be continuously turned on for about 5 years, which is the number of incandescent lamps. Ten times, it is several times that of fluorescent lamps and HID lamps. Although high-power LED plant lamps have problems of heat generation, their life span is shorter, but it can reach more than 30,000 hours. From this point, LED plant lamps are more traditional than traditional plant lamps. It has great advantages in terms of life and reliability.

 

        (2) LED plant lights are narrower than traditional plant lights

        LED plant lights can be customized by the user, and the emitted spectrum can be well controlled within the range of light required by plants. In addition to the spectrum required for plant growth, traditional plant lights do not need a large part of the light. This will not only consume electricity, but also can not complete the task of plant fill light.

        (3) LED plant lights have lower calorific value than traditional plant lights

        The energy conversion efficiency of LED plant lights in the visible region is 70%-80%, which is obviously improved significantly, much larger than traditional plant lights. Except for the radiated portion of the visible light in the total power, it is converted into heat. In terms of fever, LED plant lights have much less heat than traditional plant lights.

 

        (4) LED plant lights have lower damage rate than traditional plant lights

        Traditional plant lamps use glass tubes (shades), which have fragile defects. LED plant lamps rarely use glass materials (lens plant lamps will be used). In general, LED plant lamps have anti-vibration and anti-collision ratios. Traditional plant growth lamps are much stronger.

 

        (5) LED plant lights have higher luminous efficiency than traditional plant lights

        The electro-optical conversion efficiency of LED plant lights is about 20-30%, while the electro-optical conversion efficiency of traditional incandescent lamps is only 2-3%, which means that to achieve the same amount of light, LED plant lights can save about 90% of electric energy. The luminous efficiency is ten times higher, and it is 2 to 3 times higher than other plant lights.

 

        (6) LED plant lights are lighter than traditional plant lights

        LED plant lights are solid light sources made of semiconductor materials, which are small in size and light in weight. Traditional plant growth lamps occupy a large space and cannot be flexibly applied to various positions that require light filling. LED plant lights can be arbitrarily shaped, LED plant lights can even be wrapped with vines to fill light, compared with traditional plant growth lights, LED plants make up The light, small, lightweight and flexible features enable greater freedom of control.

 

        (7) LED plant lights are more environmentally friendly than traditional plant lights

        Since the LED plant lamp does not use harmful substances such as mercury in the fluorescent lamp, the lamp can be recycled, and the environment is not polluted under reasonable use and recycling.

 

        (8) LED plant lights respond faster than traditional plant lights

        Since the LED utilizes the phenomenon that electron-hole annihilation directly emits light, the response time of the light emission is very short, usually less than 100 ms, and the actual response speed is restricted by the driving circuit and the like. The time required for a conventional plant lamp to go from energization to steady illumination is very long, ranging from 0.15 to 0.25 s. The traditional plant lamp utilizes the discharge phenomenon, so the response time is longer than that of the LED plant lamp from the start of discharge to the stable illumination through various additional circuits.
